Jacob is in week two of preschool! He's changed so much. He's conversing on a whole new level, and has such good control over his temper. The people running the school are so impressed with how smart he is <3
Kaylee really misses Jacob when he's not home. She crawls around looking for him. On the plus side, I'm really enjoying our "Mommy and Kaylee" bonding time. She's such a funny little girl.
I'm still learning how to function when he's not here. It's true what they day about children, that when you have them, you have to learn how to exist with your heart walking around outside of your body. When he's not here, I feel like there's a piece of myself missing.

First day of preschool
My baby is in preschool! He's doing so well, and has adjusted beautifully. S, his intake worker, helped us get this all set up. She thinks it'll really help him, and I think she's right. In two days he's changed so much.

The Kids
September 11
They are growing so fast!
Jacob is starting preschool on Tuesday. We're hoping that this will help with his lingering scial issues, and his lack of interest in the potty. He's very excited, and asks me every day if he can go. Orietqation is tomorrow. I am nervous and excited for this new stage in his life. The interaction will be good for him, though. He neds te challenge. He can count to fifteen, knows his alphabet and the sounds the letters make, and can now write a few words as well. He is more than ready, and we are so proud of him!
Kaylee is ten months now, not sure where the time went. Shes crawling like crazy, pulling to stand, and curious about everything! She follows her big brother everywhere. The bond they are forming is the sweetest thing ever. She loves him, and he loves her. She's got a bunch of teeth, and eats everything we put in front of her. She's got such a little personality, an "I want it now" kind of attitude...same as Jacob had at her age.
They amaze me every single day. I love these kids.
As for hubby, he's working his til off at his new job, and they're very impressed with him. He was never so happy at his old job. I can see that he and Kaylee are going to have the "daddy's girl" relationship, whereas he and Jacob roughhouse more - more "guy-stuff". Watching him interact with the kids warms my heart He's an amazing daddy.
